Allien Callisto
The absurd alien (non-human) leader of the HLS, and sole operator (now that Anna is deceased) of the Center. Allien is an inventor as well as a scientist, and aside from her work she acts as a foster mother/older sister figure for all the Society members, who don’t necessarily have parents of their own. However, whether or not she’s an appropriate parental figure can be debated.
Age: Though she refuses to disclose her actual age, Allien appears to be somewhere near her late twenties.
Other: Recently she’s taken it upon herself to homeschool Beckett, despite neither her classes nor teaching methods being very normal. Beckett doesn’t mind. Unless he’s being woken up early. Then he minds quite a bit.
Thalia
The reckless girl who is mostly the reason for the HLS’ existence. Thalia is essentially the expert on everyone’s personal history, which may be due to her having known almost all of the members years before the Society began.
Or it could be because she is overly curious and stalks people in her spare time.
As a writer, she feels the needs to know everything about everything, especially where human nature is concerned. Thalia becomes incredibly frustrated if she doesn’t know enough about a person.
Age: 14
Relations: Thalia and Jay. They’re.. what would you call it? A thing? Sure, a thing.
Other: Over time, she has become the most knowledgeable on all topics related to HL, and has been deemed ‘the official explainer-of-things’. Thalia has recorded an insane amount of information in those notebooks of hers.
A
The genius/prodigy of the HLS. A is the unofficial second-in-command simply because he always knows what to do, and everybody always listens to him. Though he’s pretty useless at any form of combat, he’s the miracle worker, and pretty vital to the team. Despite being a bit intimidating (*cough*uptightformalcold*cough*) and somewhat of a sociopath, he is quite close to all HLS members and takes care of things around the center when Allien is busy. Or hiding.
Age: 16
Relations: He’s Beckett’s older brother!
A also has a ridiculously long history with Thalia that they refuse to talk about. Ever. Not a bad history, just one that’s awkward to bring up.
So they don’t mention it.
Other: No, A’s name isn’t actually A. But, his real name is too obvious! Thalia had to blank his name out of old files until they finally decided to call him A. It’s stuck ever since.
Holly
Likely the most reasonable and calm headed Society member. Holly is the logical, trustworthy ‘young lady’ who may or may not be dead. She also happens to be the professional on information about the Org, due to more or less firsthand experience. Though she generally disapproves of murder, Holly sort of has a bad killing record, though she’s the last person you’d expect it from.
Age: 14
Relations: Holly is Jay’s sister.
There’s also probably something going on between her and a certain Japanese person.
Other: On most occasions, Holly will go out of her way to be nice even if she doesn’t like a person. She can usually be found looking through old files, as she often does.
Jay
The cynical (sometimes) and quick-witted medic-slash-shooter-in-training.
(Yes, that’s an official title.) Despite being blind, he tends to give off the impression that he can see straight into your head, and will often tell you that that is precisely what he’s doing. To some extent, this can be considered true.
Age: 14
Relations: Holly’s brother.
Also, Thalia. Just, y’know.
Other: Whether or not he wants to, Jay tends to be the most empathetic member of the HLS. Unlike his sister, he is rather defiant and doesn’t care for rules.
Or personal privacy, for that matter. He’s not so bad at stalking himself.
Arolra
The cheerful old-fashioned girl who is adamant on remaining a child, and is thus already getting nostalgic about her youth. She’s terrible depressed about getting older and wonders how to move ahead as she grows old. Arolra tends to not fully understand the darker matters that go on in the Society, (though she’s aware of it, perhaps more so than other members) but is often underestimated for that reason.
Age: 13
Relations: All the girls (Holly, Arolra, Thalia) are quite close!
Other: Arolra uses a bow and arrow. To fight. Allien has complained about safety as well as it’s inconvenience numerous times, but she refuses to use anything else.
Kato
The crazy skilled assassin-or-something who used to be Manhattan. Heaven knows what (or who) he is now. Most likely he doesn’t even know himself.
Though he was already quite advanced at shooting before he died, most of what he knows now about combat was learnt from Sake, in the short time when he travelled with her and Wolfram.
Age: 16
Relations: Kato may or may not be in a relationship with Holly.
Though it’s almost certain, Thalia has yet to find any conclusive evidence, which irritates her to no end.
Other: His hair used to be black. Since it changed, he wears a hat and dyes it back to it’s original colour. As people tend to enjoy messing with the dye, Kato is very paranoid about it at times.
Beckett
The ‘broken’ child who is incapable of acting broken. Beckett grew up in U2E and no one can quite figure out how he turned out the way he did. Despite having what is assuredly the most traumatizing upbringing of all HLS members, he’s been more or less preserved as the bubbly, innocent child he used to be. Beckett does, however, often give off the impression of being incredibly fragile.
Age: 13
Relations: Beckett it technically both the younger brother of A and The Omniscient Gentleman, though the latter is forcibly ignored. He’s also twins with Myles, though they rarely see each other! And, eh, he may just have a brother complex, but Beckett completely adores both A and Thalia. Any reasons for that, aside from the obvious, are classified.
Other: He is a completely addicted to coffee, and all other things caffeinated and sweet, as well as an amazing actor and enjoys dressing up.
